I would like 'to second' Aidan McNaughton's comments re the Herculean efforts of our senior hurlers over the last decade. Well done, you have given us fantastic memories, especially over the last four years. This does not happen by chance. Your commitment and dedication was exemplary. As Aidan said, ' Have a rest' and come back with renewed hunger next season. I would, however, also like to pay tribute to the men and women behind the scenes. While the players and mentors were getting the plaudits, and rightly so, there must have been the same Herculean efforts from the committee. A successful team is an expensive commodity. All those trips down south etc. for challenge matches have to be paid for. So I want to say well done and thank you to the committee. Your work also contributed to the club's success over the last few years. You also deserve a rest!
As a club we echo your words all efforts on and off the pitch makes us the club we are!

I just want to say thanks to the players and management of Senior squad for all that they have achieved for our club and parish over the last number of years. Had anyone offered us 4 years ago that we would win 4 Antrim and Ulster Championships back to back, an All Ireland and come within the puck of a ball from being in a further 2 All Ireland finals, we would have taken in a flash. You have all done our club and parish proud, should be thanked without question and need a well deserved rest.

On behalf of all at Seamróga C.C, good luck to the Senior management & players of Loughgiel Shamrocks senior hurling team, ahead of their clash with Cushendall on Sunday in the quarter final of the Antrim senior hurling championship.
We would like to take this opportunity to give a special mention to the four men on the panel who have came on board at Seamróga C.C this year, to lend their expertise to four of our teams. Ronan McCloskey has watched over the U16’s meticoulsy this year and has already secured the U16 league & feis & has guided the girls to the U16 Championship final. Tony McCloskey stepped up to be the Divison 3 manager this year and has seen the girls through a league campaign & finish as runners up, they also enter a championship semi final against Cushendall under his leadership. Duck McFadden & Johnny Campbell came on board our senior & intermediate management panel this year which alongside Flash & Mickey has helped the girls secure Div 1 & Div 2 league titles & Senior & Junior feis. Both senior & intermediate have both reached championship finals with Duck & Johnny manning the sideline. The involvement of these men is a huge commitment & we cannot thank them enough for what they have done to assist the management & players of the teams they are involved in.
We will all be behind each & everyone involved with the senior hurling set up on Sunday & with us approaching a weekend of jam packed championship action the caption on the All Ireland DVD says it all

Thanks
