Loughgiel Shamrocks minor ladies won back the Minor title today on a cold wet afternoon in Armoy. Ballycastle battled hard but it just wasn't to be for the girls from the town as a strong Loughgiel team finished as worthy county champions. The first half started as a battle with both Ballycastle and Loughgiel holding their shape well to produce a first half as good as has been seen in this competition. The first half finished Loughgiel 2-4 Ballycastle 0-03.
The second half started with both teams digging deep but Loughgiel eased past the castle girls and held them scoreless in the second half.
