Best of luck to the under 14 hurlers and their mentors tomorrow in the all county feile final. It would be great if both teams got through tomorrow and represented the Shamrocks in Co Clare in the feile all Ireland finals in June.

Is there a timetable of events for the Club Day being held on Sunday 9th May? Haven't seen anything publicised regarding this.

If a team is winning by a large margin the mentors should use their subs - they can use up to five. Fair play to all who pay their membership especially at under age as there is the issue of fair play and child protection. No wonder when they reach under 16 or minors the numbers drop because they do not get a game. Mentors should take a record of subs used and give all subs a better chance.
I think if you seen all games at u14 you would realise that the mentors where giving as many boys as possible a run out, you should appreciate it that it is sometimes hard to weigh everything up. There is also a full league programme this year with other competitions and therefore plenty of chances for all boys to get a game. This is one of the reasons that from u12 down go-games have been introduced, this means that all players have a 'go' and must play at some stage in all matches.
