Yes I agree with what you say - make the whole club hurling, camogie, football etc - all gaelic games. And yes use the club facilities for parties and functions and classes of all sorts. Gaels who go else where - are they true Gaels.

Yes I agree with your comment about our young people should be playing in these tournaments and getting the experience and enjoyment of mixing with others clubs, making new friends etc. We have to encourage the right people to take on these jobs and it would need to be strong people that can
put a lot of qualities into our young people like discipline, respect for their own mentors, players and others and how to be gracious in victory and defeat. Could we not start looking at the bigger picture and work as a club and not just on family group running against another. Work and make our club bigger, better and a bright future for our young players because if we do not encourage and work with these young players we will not have andy teams for the future. Question also for people that say they are club people in hurling and camogie why do they not support their own club by running parties etc in our clubrooms?? Support your own club and put money into it.

As a parent I see in the county camogie site the chance for our under age teams to play in St Endas blitz's. Mentors are asked for every week in the mass bulletin - is this sorted and can it be sorted as our girls should be in these blitz's. The previous mentors would have had this sorted I am sorry that they are not still there - as we would be registered in these competitions instead of losing out - when we have the teams that have beaten all around this last couple of years. I have to post this here as there is no guestbook in the camogie site and it does not look updated. A parent who wants to see Underage teams progress.

Great to see a young man get the managers job and I am delighted its babs. Worked with him last year and thought he was brilliant. Seems he put a bit of thought into his backroom team and cant wait to get working with them. I now hope the players give it their all and that everyone rows in behind him and his team.
Good luck for 2010

Best of luck to young Babs and his team for the incoming year. Time for everyone in the club to get behind the team in pursuit of the common goal.
